Clearification.com is an interactive website that was developed to play host to a series of short films promoting Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows Vista. At the centre of the narrative lies the Daily Show’s Demetri Martin, delivering his blend of witty humour and abstract point of views right on cue.

The website provides a platform for users to hang out with Demetri, along the way you are prompted to watch videos and to investigate the sites purpose more carefully. The site is highly interactive, Demetri is always asking questions or making funny remarks. There is never a dull moment. Every second is filled with interesting content and even the loading screens for the movies are fun, it is very polished and easy to use.
The website and movies deliver an engaging and rewarding experience. The quality of the production is high and the system used to stream the videos online is robust and well integrated into the site. You never get the feeling that you are watching rebranded youtube videos like you do on dietcoke films.
The only problem that the site may face is the length of the films, if you were to watch all of the material end to end you would be spending half an hour on the site. I don’t see this as a huge issue as the material is of a very high standard and the branding is minimal, bordering on no existent.
